Noida has launched a unique eco-friendly attraction called Jungle Trail in Sector 94, a wildlife-themed park created entirely from approximately 500 tonnes of scrap metal and industrial waste. Developed by Noida Authority, this innovative park transforms discarded materials into life-size animal sculptures and recreational spaces, promoting sustainability and environmental education, while enhancing urban greenery and public engagement.

Park Overview and Location
Located near the Mahamaya Flyover along the Yamuna riverbank, the park spans around 18 to 20 acres. It is divided into three major zones:

  • The first zone includes an entry plaza, parking for vehicles and buses, a food court, an exhibition area, and a 1,000-seat amphitheater.
  • The second zone features natural habitats including tropical rainforests, grasslands, and wetlands.
  • The third zone presents islands, oceans, temperate forests, and polar regions, creating a diverse wildlife experience [source: Noida Authority releases].

Sculptures and Thematic Experience
More than 600 sculptures of animals and birds have been crafted by Indian artists using scrap materials such as chains, nuts, bolts, fuel tanks, and iron pieces. These sculptures represent animals from seven continents, creating a “world safari” feel with zones themed around different habitats. The park creatively mixes art and ecology, delivering both visual appeal and an actionable message on waste recycling.

Environmental and Educational Goals
Noida Authority’s vision for Jungle Trail is to transform waste into wonder, showcasing how urban scrap can be reused to build public infrastructure and art without harming the environment. Over 400,000 plants have been planted to create dense greenery supporting biodiversity—real birds have already started visiting, adding life to the park. It is intended as an educational space for families and school children to learn about wildlife conservation, recycling, and sustainability in a natural yet artificial environment.

Visitor Information
The park is open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM. Entry tickets are priced at ₹120 per person, with free admission for children under 3 years. Additional activities such as boating and adventure sports may have separate fees. The park offers well-lit trails for day and evening visits, making it an attractive spot for families, nature enthusiasts, and tourists in the region.
