For Noida and Greater Noida residents, Aadhaar has become one of the most important identity documents for banking, government schemes, mobile services, PAN linking, property paperwork and several day-to-day verifications.

But many residents still have outdated addresses, old mobile numbers, missing document updates or biometric issues in their Aadhaar records. The good news is that several Aadhaar services can now be managed online, while physical centres remain available for services that need biometric verification or in-person authentication.

The most important update for residents right now is this: UIDAI has extended the free online document update facility on the myAadhaar portal till June 14, 2027. This applies to document update through the online portal, not every type of Aadhaar correction. UIDAI’s May 13, 2026 Office Memorandum says the free document update facility through myAadhaar has been extended from June 15, 2026 to June 14, 2027.

What Aadhaar Services Can Be Done Online?

Residents can use the official myAadhaar portal for several Aadhaar-related services, including document update, Aadhaar download, update status check and other self-service options.

The online document update facility is useful if your existing Aadhaar details are correct, but your supporting proof of identity or proof of address documents need to be updated in UIDAI’s database. UIDAI describes document update as updating documents in the Aadhaar database for better service delivery and accurate Aadhaar-based authentication.

Residents should note that online update is not the same as all Aadhaar corrections. Some changes may still require a visit to an authorised Aadhaar centre.

When Do You Need To Visit An Aadhaar Centre?

You may need to visit a UIDAI-authorised Aadhaar centre for services such as:

  • New Aadhaar enrolment
  • Mobile number update
  • Biometric update or correction
  • Photograph update
  • Iris or fingerprint-related correction
  • Cases where online update is not accepted
  • Aadhaar update for children where biometric update is required

UIDAI’s official website allows residents to book an online appointment for Aadhaar enrolment or update at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. The UIDAI home page also lists “Book an Appointment” for enrolment or update services.

Residents can book appointments through the official portal here:

Aadhaar Update Charges Residents Should Know

Aadhaar enrolment is free. However, some update services are chargeable.

According to UIDAI’s Aadhaar enrolment and update charge document, demographic updates such as name, gender, date of birth, address, mobile number or email address cost ₹75 if done separately. Biometric update, if done outside the specified free mandatory biometric update windows, costs ₹125. Document update at an Aadhaar centre costs ₹75.

For Noida residents, the practical takeaway is simple:

  • New Aadhaar enrolment: Free
  • Online document update on myAadhaar: Free till June 14, 2027
  • Document update at Aadhaar centre: ₹75
  • Demographic update at centre: ₹75
  • Biometric update, where chargeable: ₹125

Residents should always verify the latest charges on uidai.gov.in before visiting a centre, as service fees may be revised by UIDAI.

Aadhaar Centres In Noida And Greater Noida

Aadhaar services in Noida and Greater Noida are generally available through authorised centres such as Aadhaar Seva Kendras, selected post offices, banks and other UIDAI-approved enrolment/update locations.

For residents, the safest method is not to rely only on old Google listings or third-party websites. Before visiting any centre, check the official UIDAI portal, book an appointment wherever possible and confirm whether the centre is currently handling the service you need.

What About Senior Citizens, Persons With Disabilities And Bedridden Residents?

UIDAI has a home enrolment service policy for senior citizens, bedridden residents, infirm residents and persons with disabilities, also referred to as Divyangjan, on a chargeable basis.

The UIDAI Home Enrolment Service Office Memorandum dated April 5, 2023 says the facility may be extended on prior approval of the Regional Office through UIDAI Registrars. It also states that the service is meant for senior citizens, bedridden, infirm and persons with disabilities, subject to payment of service charges and supporting eligibility documents.

For families in Noida helping elderly parents or relatives, the best approach is to first check the nearest authorised Aadhaar centre and then contact UIDAI through official channels if home enrolment support is genuinely required.

PAN-Aadhaar Linking

PAN-Aadhaar linking is handled through the Income Tax Department portal, not through local Aadhaar centres.

Residents who need to check PAN-Aadhaar linking status or complete the process should use the official Income Tax Department website:

The Bottom Line For Noida Residents

Aadhaar services in Noida are spread across several locations — from Sector 18 and Sector 19 to Gaur City and Greater Noida. The biggest advantage right now is the extended free online document update window, which is available on the myAadhaar portal till June 14, 2027. If your proof of identity or proof of address documents are outdated, this is the easiest way to update them from home without paying a fee.

For anything that requires physical presence — such as mobile number update, biometric correction, new enrolment, or cases where online update is not possible — residents should use only UIDAI-authorised centres and book an appointment in advance wherever available.

If you are helping an elderly family member, a person with disability, or someone who cannot easily travel, first check the nearest authorised Aadhaar centre and UIDAI’s home enrolment service guidelines before planning the visit.
