Passengers flying out of Noida International Airport will pay a user development fee, or UDF, of ₹490 for domestic departures and ₹980 for international departures during the 2026-27 tariff period.
The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority, or AERA, has fixed the passenger fee structure for the upcoming airport at Jewar. For arriving passengers, the UDF has been set at ₹210 for domestic arrivals and ₹420 for international arrivals.
Noida International Airport is expected to begin commercial operations from June 15, 2026. The fee structure is important because UDF is usually included in the ticket cost or collected as part of airport charges.
Noida Airport UDF: Passenger Fee Table
| Passenger type | UDF amount |
|---|---|
| Domestic departure | ₹490 |
| International departure | ₹980 |
| Domestic arrival | ₹210 |
| International arrival | ₹420 |
What Is UDF?
UDF, or user development fee, is a charge collected from passengers to help recover the cost of developing and operating airport infrastructure. It is not an airline fare, but an airport-linked charge that is usually passed on to passengers through ticket pricing or airport billing.
For passengers in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and the wider NCR belt, the final cost of flying from Jewar will include the ticket fare, taxes and airport charges such as UDF.
What AERA Approved
According to reports citing AERA’s order, the approved domestic departure UDF of ₹490 is lower than the ₹653 proposed by the airport operator. For international departures, the approved fee is ₹980 against the proposed ₹1,200.
AERA has also approved a variable tariff plan for airline landing and parking charges, with the aim of supporting route growth and airline operations in the early years of the airport.
What It Means For Future Flyers
For most passengers, the most important number is the domestic departure UDF of ₹490. That is likely to affect a large share of early flyers from Noida International Airport, especially if the airport begins with more domestic traffic.
The arrival UDF is lower, at ₹210 for domestic passengers and ₹420 for international passengers. International travellers will pay a higher charge because international airport facilities, processes and infrastructure typically cost more to operate.
For residents, the fee announcement gives an early sense of what flying from Jewar may cost once passenger services begin. The final ticket price will still depend on the airline, route, booking date, taxes and other charges.
