Which programmes have vacant seats?
GBU has attached a detailed vacancy statement covering programmes across engineering, information and communication technology, humanities, management, vocational and applied sciences, Buddhist studies and biotechnology.

Who can participate?
GBU says the mop-up round covers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through applicable national-level test scores such as CUET, JEE and NATA, or merit in the qualifying examination, depending on the programme. Candidates must satisfy the programme-specific eligibility conditions in the university’s 2026-27 admission brochure.
For B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech CSE with Artificial Intelligence, the August 10 notice sets separate Class 12 and JEE Main score conditions. Applicants to these programmes should therefore check the precise eligibility wording in the official notice and admission brochure rather than relying on a general eligibility rule.
For other participating undergraduate programmes, the notice says candidates meeting the relevant Class 12 eligibility criteria may report, subject to programme-specific exceptions.
For postgraduate programmes, candidates must meet the qualifying undergraduate degree requirements specified in the admission brochure.
Which programmes are not part of this mop-up round?
The August 10 notice specifically excludes:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Clinical Psychology
- M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine
- Ph.D. programmes

Can final-year PG applicants participate?
There is an important provision for candidates seeking postgraduate admission.

Failure to meet that requirement will lead to cancellation of admission, according to the university notice.

The university says counselling-cum-admission will continue only up to 4 PM, with a lunch break from 1:30 PM to 2 PM.
Candidates are therefore better advised not to treat 4 PM as the reporting deadline. The official reporting window itself is 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

One separate GBU notice should not be confused with this round
