What information should a civic complaint include?
A complaint is easier to understand and route when it contains:
- The exact sector, block, society, village or road.
- A nearby landmark.
- The date and approximate time.
- A short and clear description.
- Photographs or video where safe and relevant.
- A consumer number for power or utility complaints.
- Your name and callback number.
- The previous complaint number, if the issue has already been reported.
Save every acknowledgement, ticket or complaint number. It may be needed for follow-up or escalation.
Do not place yourself in danger to take a photograph. Report open manholes, fallen electricity wires, fire, deep waterlogging and other immediate hazards from a safe location.
Save these numbers before an emergency
Residents should save the most relevant numbers on their phones and keep a printed copy near the entrance or notice board.
RWAs, AOAs, schools, offices, shops and housing societies can display a customised version that also includes:
- the nearest police station;
- the nearest hospital;
- society security;
- facility management;
- lift-maintenance provider;
- fire-control room;
- local emergency contacts for elderly or vulnerable residents.
The customised list should be reviewed at least once every three months.
Correction and update policy
Government agencies may change phone numbers, portals, WhatsApp services or departmental responsibilities.
Pulse of Noida will review this directory every three months. Residents and official agencies may share corrections supported by a current official webpage, notice or verified agency communication.
