Noida International Airport’s route network is entering its first major expansion month after commercial operations began in June, but passengers should still verify route availability, flight timing and fares directly with the airline before booking.
The airport’s own destinations page now lists multiple domestic destinations connected or expected to be connected from Noida International Airport, including Bengaluru, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kishangarh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pantnagar and Srinagar. Several of these destinations are marked by the airport as “Flights starting from July.” The airport’s own disclaimer also says flight routes and timings may change and recommends confirming the latest details with the airline before booking.
For residents, that disclaimer is the key point. A destination appearing on the airport’s route page does not always mean every flight is available on every date, or that the airline schedule is fixed for all weeks of July.
What is officially confirmed by airlines
IndiGo was the launch carrier at Noida International Airport. The airline officially said it began operations from the airport on June 15, 2026, with the first flight arriving from Lucknow and the first departure operating to Bengaluru. IndiGo had earlier announced that it would be the first airline to start commercial operations from the new airport.
Akasa Air officially began operations from Noida International Airport on June 16, 2026. Its press release listed non-stop services on the Noida–Bengaluru and Noida–Navi Mumbai routes, with daily operations shown in the airline’s schedule table.
What passengers should verify before booking
Before booking a ticket from Noida International Airport, passengers should check three things directly on the airline website or app:
First, confirm that the route is available on the exact travel date. Some July routes may begin later in the month or operate on selected days.
Second, check the departure airport carefully. In airline booking systems, Noida International Airport may appear as Jewar or by its airport code DXN. Passengers should ensure they are not accidentally booking from Delhi’s IGI Airport.
Third, verify ground transport. Noida International Airport is located at Jewar, so travel time from Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi or Gurugram can vary sharply depending on traffic, rain and time of day.
Why July matters for Noida Airport
July is important because it is the first full month in which residents can begin assessing Noida International Airport as a practical alternative to Delhi Airport for domestic travel.
For some passengers in Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway sectors, Bulandshahr, Aligarh and parts of western Uttar Pradesh, the airport may reduce travel time compared with IGI. For others, especially from Delhi or Gurugram, the airport may still require careful comparison between fare, timing and road access.
Do not rely only on route rumours

The airport’s destination list is a useful indicator of the planned network, but passengers should make booking decisions only after checking the live airline schedule and final fare.
