The latest Uttar Pradesh eProcurement records checked by Pulse of Noida on August 21, 2026 show that road packages in Sector 18, Sector 17A and Sector 17 remain open for bids until August 25. Their bid opening is scheduled for August 27.
Other packages reviewed in Sector 22D and Sector 8D had bid-submission deadlines of August 19, with bid opening scheduled for August 20.
None of the official records reviewed for these packages currently establishes that a contractor has been formally selected or that construction has started.
For YEIDA plot allottees, businesses and future residents, the tenders provide a useful indication of where internal connectivity works are progressing administratively. But tendered does not mean under construction.

Sector 17A package gives a closer look at the tender stage
The Sector 17A package provides a useful example of how to read these records.
Tender ID 2026_YEIDA_1174871_26 covers remaining service-road work on 60-metre and 45-metre-wide roads in Sector 17A, together with a five-year maintenance component.
The official tender page currently records:
- Tender value: ₹5,04,89,486, approximately ₹5.05 crore.
- Period of work: 310 days.
- Bid submission deadline: August 25, 2026 at 5 PM.
- Scheduled bid opening: August 27, 2026 at 11 AM.
The approximately ₹5.05 crore figure is the tender value. It should not be described as the final contract amount because the procurement process has not yet established a successful bidder and final award value.
Similarly, the 310-day period is the period stated in the tender. It is not a confirmed completion date at this stage because a contractor award and commencement date have not been established.
Sector 18 is also still at the bidding stage
The Sector 18 package covers construction of service roads at different locations along a 45-metre-wide road, including stretches associated with multiple pockets in the sector.
The latest official listing shows Tender ID 2026_YEIDA_1174871_20 remaining open until August 25 at 5 PM, with bid opening scheduled for August 27 at 11 AM.
This means the Sector 18 package should currently be described as tendered and open for bidding, not as awarded or under construction.
Two Sector 17 packages remain open
Two road-related works reviewed in Sector 17 are also listed with an August 25 bid deadline.
One covers an approach road and drain serving seven abadi plots at Village Dhanauri. The other concerns balance internal development work involving road and sewer infrastructure in Pocket C.
Both currently remain procurement-stage projects.
Physical construction under these specific contracts should not be assumed until YEIDA’s procurement records show a formal award and subsequent commencement of work.
Sector 22D and Sector 8D are at a later tender stage
The position is different for the reviewed Sector 22D and Sector 8D packages.
For Sector 22D, the official tender listing records a bid-submission deadline of August 19 at 5 PM for resurfacing part of the left-side service road along the 120-metre-wide road. Bid opening was scheduled for August 20.
For Sector 8D, two reviewed packages also carried August 19 submission deadlines:
- Development of a 45-metre-wide road, Part C.
- Construction of a service road along the 130-metre-wide road from Jewar-Khurja Road.
For these packages, the submission period has passed according to the tender records reviewed by Pulse of Noida.
However, a scheduled bid-opening date does not by itself establish that a contractor has been selected.
Pulse of Noida has not found a formal Award of Contract for these reviewed packages in the records used for this update.
What does each tender stage actually mean?
Road-project announcements can become confusing when tendering, award and construction are treated as interchangeable. They are not.
Tender issued
YEIDA has invited eligible contractors to bid for a specified work.
Bidding open
Contractors can still submit bids before the official deadline.
This is currently the position for the reviewed Sector 18, Sector 17A and Sector 17 packages.
Bid submission closed
The deadline for submitting bids has passed.
This is the position recorded for the reviewed Sector 22D and Sector 8D packages.
Bid opening or evaluation
Technical and financial bids may be examined according to the procurement process.
A scheduled bid-opening date does not automatically mean a contractor has received the project.
Contract awarded
A successful bidder is formally selected and an award or equivalent procurement record is issued.
This stage has not been confirmed for the road packages covered in this article.
Construction started
Physical work has begun under the awarded contract.
Construction commencement has also not been confirmed for the reviewed packages.
Why these internal roads matter
Much of the attention around the Yamuna Expressway region focuses on large infrastructure projects such as Noida International Airport and regional expressways.
For plot allottees, businesses and future residents, however, internal sector connectivity is equally important.
Service roads and internal roads determine how residential pockets, industrial plots, institutional sites and local facilities connect with larger arterial roads.
That makes sector-level projects worth tracking separately from major regional connectivity schemes.
Pulse of Noida is also tracking the separate Noida Airport-Ganga Expressway link EPC tender.
That project should not be confused with the YEIDA works covered here. The airport-expressway link is a regional connectivity project, while these tenders concern roads and associated infrastructure within developing YEIDA sectors.
What residents and plot allottees should watch next
For each road package, the next meaningful milestones are:
- Bid process completed: Technical and financial evaluation is concluded.
- Successful bidder identified: The procurement result becomes available.
- Contract formally awarded: YEIDA issues the relevant award or contract record.
- Work commences: Physical construction begins.
- Completion period runs from the applicable contractual stage: Only then can a meaningful project-completion timeline be assessed.
Until those milestones appear in official records, tender values should not be treated as final contract costs and work periods should not be converted into promised completion dates.
What Pulse of Noida will track

- Changes to bid deadlines through corrigenda.
- Technical and financial evaluation status.
- Successful bidders.
- Formal contract awards.
- Final contract values where officially published.
- Actual commencement of construction.

As of August 21, the accurate position is that YEIDA has several road projects at different stages of tendering across Sectors 17, 17A, 18, 22D and 8D. Some remain open for bids, while others have passed their submission deadlines. Contractor selection and construction commencement are not yet confirmed for the reviewed packages.
